The whooping cranes have landed! The third time was a charm for Operation Migration for a flyover of the Dunnellon Airport on the way for the young cranes to rest at Halpata Tastanaki Preserve near Dunnellon.  Watching the ultralights lead an endangered species on to survival was enough to put chills up my spine, and it wasn’t from the 29*F temperatures but the sight itself, and the awe of the assembled crowd.  Take a look!
